About

Born in sunny Southern California, Annemarie Adriana grew up in a house full of musicians. From her parents’ vinyl record collection to her older sister’s 90s and 00s CDs, music and most importantly, singing surrounded her from a young age.Since the age of two, she has been captivating audiences both onstage and offstage. Her biggest inspiration came from the High School Musical franchise, the catalyst for asking her mom how she could one day sing, dance, and act on the silver screen.

From that moment on, Annemarie never stopped performing. Her childhood was filled with commercial auditions in LA, competitive dance, singing lessons, and musical theater productions. Annemarie has since studied theatre extensively nationally and internationally: NYU Tisch, UCLA’s Herb Albert School of Music and School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and Cambridge University’s Pembroke College.

At UCLA, she has performed in two main-stage musicals: Something Rotten! (Ensemble/Portia understudy) and Into The Woods (Swing - Female Tracks). Additionally, she has appeared in two new works, appeared in student films, and starred in a Shakespeare production (Viola, Twelfth Night). Other credits include Ensemble in Something Rotten! (Camino Real Playhouse), Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, and Lucy Van Pelt in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

When not performing, Annemarie can be found reading a romance novel, curating oddly specific Spotify playlists, writing song lyrics, or delving into the latest F1 race. She is also a self-proclaimed connoisseur of all things One Direction, Taylor Swift, and Harry Styles.

"We're soaring, flying.
There's not a star in heaven
that we can't reach."
